Top two images show old cracks which were not properly repaired. The front should have been taken off to make for a good repair. Here the cracks were not closed tight allowing for dirt to get in. The excess hide glue was not cleaned off. Both of these cracks opened again and to make matters worse super glue was used. If the cracks were repaired immediately by a professional they would be barely noticeable. In this condition it is very difficult to make good aesthetically this repair. How ever it is possible to make it good and have a new working life.The bottom two images show the repair done again and cleaned.
